Soccer Recap: Young Men's Leadership Academy Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kemp, Young Men's Leadership Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Village Tech Viper Squid 2-1. Young Men's Leadership Academy wouldn't have won without Christian Davis, who scored the game-winner.

The victory got Young Men's Leadership Academy back to even at 2-2-1. As for Village Tech, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Young Men's Leadership Academy will head out to challenge Springtown at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th. Young Men's Leadership Academy is facing Springtown at the right time seeing as Springtown is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Village Tech, they will venture away from home to take on Williams Prep at 11:15 a.m. on January 25th.
