Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brashier Middle College Charter). Their defense stepped up to hand the Chesnee Eagles a 7-0 shutout on Tuesday. Aleeya Smith was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Brashier Middle College Charter pushed their record up to 6-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for Chesnee, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Brashier Middle College Charter and Chesnee will both be playing Greenville Tech Charter the next time they take the pitch. The Bengal will head out to face the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will host them at 5:30 p.m. on the 15th.
