Baseball Game Preview: Independence 76ers vs. James Lick Comets

Independence is 2-8 against James Lick since March of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The 76ers will head out on the road to take on the Comets at 4:00 p.m. Independence has given up an average of 15.1 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Independence is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 12th straight game on Thursday. They lost 27-2 to Yerba Buena.

Independence saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marcus D'Agostino, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Meanwhile, James Lick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against Gunderson, falling 8-2.

Independence's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for James Lick, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.
