The Lake Highland Prep Highlanders will be playing at home against the Master's Academy Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

Things were looking good for Lake Highland Prep after they put the first run on the board on Tuesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Trinity Christian Academy by a score of 12-11. Even if the Highlanders couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Meanwhile, Master's Academy got themselves on the board against Pine Ridge on Tuesday, but Pine Ridge never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Panthers. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Katie Daniel, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those two hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lauren McMeel, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Lake Highland Prep's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Master's Academy, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.
