After losing to Paulding County the last time they met, Harrison decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Harrison Hoyas came out on top in a nail-biter against the Paulding County Patriots on Friday, sneaking past 36-34. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hoyas.

Paulding County's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alexus Wilson, who posted nine points. Wilson has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Kayla Manigault was another key player, putting up six points.

Harrison has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Paulding County, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.

Harrison didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 59-37 defeat against Sprayberry on the 18th. Paulding County has also already played their next game, a 65-23 win against Osborne on the 22nd.
