Soccer Recap: North Marion Comes Up Short

After flying high against Oak Glen last Saturday, North Marion came back down to earth. The Huskies came up short against the Spring Valley Timberwolves on Saturday, falling 6-2. North Marion were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-1.

Eli Ramsey and Jacob Kusich scored both of North Marion's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

North Marion's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Spring Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1-1.

North Marion wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 2-2 draw against East Fairmont on the 2nd. As for Spring Valley, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-1 win against Grace Christian on the 2nd.
