Softball Recap: Munster Comes Up Short

Munster fell victim to New Palestine and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They fell just short of the Dragons by a score of 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Mustangs have suffered since March 29, 2025.

Munster's defeat dropped their record down to 16-10. As for New Palestine, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Munster wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 8-5 loss against Avon on the 16th. As for New Palestine, they have also already played their next matchup, a 4-1 defeat against Crown Point on the 16th.
