Basketball Game Preview: Amador Valley Dons vs. Foothill Falcons

Amador Valley hasn't had much luck against Foothill recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Amador Valley Dons will be playing at home against the Foothill Falcons at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Amador Valley is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Tuesday. They fell 58-50 to Dougherty Valley.

Meanwhile, Foothill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 59-55 heartbreaker at the hands of California. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 336th, while the Grizzlies are ranked 48th).

Amador Valley's loss dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Foothill, they now have a losing record at 12-13.
