Jefferson and Brodhead are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2018, but likely not for long. The Eagles will face off against the Cardinals on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Jefferson 1.6, Brodhead 1.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Meanwhile, Brodhead came tearing into Thursday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.2 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Cheesemakers as they made off with a 10-2 win. Considering the Cardinals have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Jefferson and bumps their season record up to 22-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Brodhead, their victory bumped their record up to 19-4.

Jefferson came out on top in a nail-biter against Brodhead when the teams last played on May 9th, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Cardinals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
