Basketball Recap: Katahdin Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Katahdin, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 38-31 win over the Fort Fairfield Tigers on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 28-23 last Monday.

Katahdin's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-11. As for Fort Fairfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Katahdin will host Southern Aroostook at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fort Fairfield, they will face off against Madawaska at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fort Fairfield is facing Madawaska at the right time seeing as Madawaska is stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
