Softball Recap: Foley Takes a Loss

Foley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Fairhope Pirates, falling 14-4. The Lions were not able to make up for their loss to the Pirates from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Foley's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Fairhope, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-9.

Foley and Fairhope will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Lions see the field they'll take on Robertsdale at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Fairhope, their break will end when they face Gulf Shores at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
