Basketball Recap: Warden Comes Up Short

After flying high against River View on Friday, Warden came back down to earth. The Warden Cougars were beaten by the Columbia Coyotes 68-26 on Saturday. The Cougars have struggled against the Coyotes recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Warden's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Columbia, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-0.

Warden and Toledo will round out the year against one another at at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Columbia, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting East Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Columbia has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 205 points over their last three games.
