Softball Recap: Southeast Alamance Comes Up Short

After flying high against Graham on Tuesday, Southeast Alamance came back down to earth. The Stallions fell just short of the Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves by a score of 5-3 on Thursday.

Southeast Alamance saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Katie Lloyd, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Lloyd is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last 18 games she's played. Another was Amarie Contreras, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

Southeast Alamance now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Cedar Ridge, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-6.

As of now, neither Southeast Alamance nor the Fighting Red Wolves have any future games scheduled.
