Basketball Recap: Daleville Broncos vs. Wapahani Raiders

After flying high against Cowan last Friday, Daleville came back down to earth. The Daleville Broncos were outmatched by the Wapahani Raiders and fell 80-35. The Broncos were not able to make up for their defeat to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Loss or not, Daleville got some senior leadership from Josh Wilson and Noah Colvin. Wilson posted 11 points, while Colvin went 6 for 12 on his way to 15 points. Another player making a difference was Hunter Suchyna, who put up eight points.

Camden Bell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Wapahani, going 10 of 12 en route to 22 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Andrews, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine boards.

Daleville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Wapahani, their victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-0.

Daleville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 79-52 loss against Lapel on the 25th. As for Wapahani, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 48-34 win against Yorktown on the 18th.
