Baseball Recap: Robinson Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Robinson won the last time they faced Concord and things went their way on Saturday too. The Robinson Bulldogs came out on top against the Concord Spiders by a score of 7-2. The game marked the Bulldogs' most dominant victory of the season so far.

The team relied heavily on Tyler Kluttz, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 3-for-3. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Brayden Trueblood also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.

With the win, Robinson broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-6. As for Concord, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Robinson will square off against Northwest Cabarrus at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Concord, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Carson at 6:30 p.m. Carson's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so Concord's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
