Football Recap: Elk Grove Comes Up Short on the Road Against Manteca

Elk Grove kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They were dealt a 29-0 loss at the hands of the Manteca Buffaloes. The Thundering Herd were not able to make up for their defeat to the Buffaloes from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Looking ahead, Elk Grove will host Downey at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Manteca, they will venture away from home to face off against Cardinal Newman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
