Basketball Game Preview: South Side Rams vs. Rochester Rams

The South Side Rams and the Rochester Rams will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.

Last Friday, South Side was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 55-51 to Shenango. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Rochester beat Western Beaver 63-55 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

Rochester is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points per game. As for South Side, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

South Side came out on top in a nail-biter against Rochester in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, sneaking past 55-53. Does South Side have another victory up their sleeve, or will Rochester turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
