Baseball Recap: Hannibal Takes a Loss

Hannibal was the 3-1 winner over Mexico when they last played one another on April 3rd, but their luck changed this time around. The Pirates fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 6-5 on Tuesday.

Azariah Tucker was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one double. Cooper Scott also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Hannibal's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Mexico, their record is now 13-10.

Looking ahead, Hannibal will be playing in front of their home fans against Fulton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mexico, they will venture away from home to take on Kirksville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
