Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Port of Los Angeles). They blew past the Locke Saints 12-1 on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Polar Bears in their matchups with the Saints: they've now won nine in a row.

Joaquin Guerrero looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has become a key player for Port of Los Angeles: the team is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-5 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Ethan Vasquez was a standout: he scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Garcia, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Port of Los Angeles was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .478. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
