Stephenson is 8-2 against Stone Mountain since August of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Jaguars will head out on the road to face off against the Pirates at 5:30 p.m. Stephenson will be strutting in after a victory while Stone Mountain will be coming in after a loss.

It was a proper cat-fight when Stephenson duked it out with Forest Park on Thursday. The Jaguars walked away with a 2-0 win over the Panthers.

Stephenson not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Forest Park between 14 and 16 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Stone Mountain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to Southwest DeKalb.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-12.

Stone Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Stephenson, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season.

Stephenson beat Stone Mountain 2-0 in their previous meeting on September 9th. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jaguars since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
