It's playoff time, and Abbeville had no trouble coming through when it counted. They took down the Ariton Purple Cats 64-50 on Friday. The victory was nothing new for the Yellowjackets as they're now sitting on nine straight.

Ariton's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Addison Senn, who went 7 for 12 on his way to 20 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Easton Kilpatrick, who went 5 of 11 en route to 13 points along with seven boards and three steals.

Abbeville pushed their record up to 21-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Ariton, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season.
