Preview: Bayard vs. Perkins County
After two weeks on the road, Perkins County is heading back home. On Friday they take on Bayard at 7:00 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Things haven't been easy for Perkins County, and their match last Friday only extended their streak of losses to four. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 24-54 punch to the gut against Sutherland last Friday.
Meanwhile, if Bayard were riding high off their 64-26 takedown of Morrill two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Bayard were completely outmatched, falling 12-54 to Hemingford. Bayard were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-42.
