Volleyball Recap: Marion Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Marion had to endure a four-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Gallatin County Hawks by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-21.

Adriana Dunning was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had ten digs. Those ten digs gave her a new career-high.

Marion's victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Gallatin County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-5 record this season.

Marion will take on Crab Orchard in a tournament on Saturday. As for Gallatin County, they will head out on the road to face off against Carrier Mills-Stonefort at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
