While Roger Bacon's win against Cincinnati Christian wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Spartans won by a run and slipped past the Cougars 8-7. Winning may never get old, but the Spartans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Roger Bacon's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Cincinnati Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Roger Bacon will take on Indian Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cincinnati Christian, they will challenge Deer Park at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cougars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 10.4 runs per game this season.
