Volleyball Game Preview: Arizona College Prep Knights vs. Chaparral Firebirds + Official Tickets

Arizona College Prep hasn't had much luck against Chaparral recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Knights will square off against the Firebirds at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Arizona College Prep is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Maricopa, sneaking past 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Arizona College Prep who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 22-25, 26-24, 21-25, 15-9.

Meanwhile, Chaparral made easy work of Catalina Foothills on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Chaparral's win bumped their record up to 31-5. As for Arizona College Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 14-18-2.

Arizona College Prep might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Chaparral in their previous matchup back in October. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
