It was a good run, but the Ben Holt College Prep Academy Bobcats unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 56-47 to Sierra.

Ben Holt College Prep Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Tayden Collins, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 16 rebounds. Collins is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Sahil Singh was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Ben Holt College Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Sierra, their victory bumped their record up to 14-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ben Holt College Prep Academy will take on Don Pedro at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Don Pedro comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 18 points in their last 12 games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Sierra, Sierra and Manteca will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Manteca knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Sierra likes a good challenge.
