Volleyball Recap: Lutheran Triumphs

Lutheran won the last time they faced Mesa Ridge and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lions came out on top against the Grizzlies by a score of 3-1.

Lutheran had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-22, 25-13, 25-18.

Lutheran now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Mesa Ridge, they dropped their record down to 3-19 with the loss, which was their tenth straight at home.

Lutheran wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Rampart on the 26th. As for Mesa Ridge, they will be playing at home against Doherty at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Grizzlies are facing the Spartans at the right time seeing as the Spartans are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
