Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Savio). Everything went their way against the St. Andrew's Highlanders on Tuesday as the Savio Eagles made off with a 14-3 victory. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly 11 runs.

The win was the third in a row for Savio, bringing their record for this year to 5-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for St. Andrew's, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-2 record.

Savio does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Andrew's, they will take on Cooper at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Andrew's has given up an average of 7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
