Football Recap: Caledonia Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Caledonia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 43-23 to the East Webster Wolverines.

Tyler Lobg threw for 52 yards on three of five attempts.

East Webster had a senior duo take command as Cooper Stidham threw for 161 yards and two TDs while completing 83.3% of his passes and RT Moye rushed for 30 yards and three touchdowns.

Caledonia's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for East Webster, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Looking ahead, after each having a week off, Caledonia and Columbus will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. This will be the Cavaliers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for East Webster, they will be playing at home against Kemper County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
