League recap: Council Rock South's league-best seven wins lead to standings climb

Suburban One - National league recap: 5/22/13

Council Rock South outpaced the rest of the league this week, as its seven total wins led the league. The Golden Hawks beat Upper Dublin 3-2 and Pennridge 6-5.

With a rough week, Council Rock North dropped out of the state's top 25 rankings. Council Rock North fell from No. 23 to No. 84 after going 0-3 over the past week. The Indians are ranked No. 2,270 in the nation, and have an overall record of 10-5.

Neshaminy's pitching staff had a strong showing this week, allowing only nine hits and four walks, both of which led Suburban One - National.

The league boasted three .400 hitters over the past week. The group was paced by Tom Kreiling, who collected two hits in four at bats for a .500 average.



The week's strikeout crown belonged to Tom Kreiling, who turned in four Ks for the Redskins. He's eighth in the league with six total strikeouts.
