Basketball Recap: Legacy Triumphs

While Legacy didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 51-50 win over the Liberty Christian Warriors. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Leopards have posted since January 10th.

Legacy's record is now 8-5. As for Liberty Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Legacy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 45-36 win against Frisco on the 5th. As for Liberty Christian, they and Independence will face off at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played.
