Football Recap: JAG Takes a Loss + How To Watch

JAG extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 1-7. They had to suffer through a 42-6 loss at the hands of the Enterprise Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 95th, while the Wildcats are ranked 15th).

JAG didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jadarrius Jordan and Marlo Harris.

As for Enterprise, the victory got them back to even at 4-4. The win continues a trend for them in their matchups with JAG: they've now won seven in a row.

Enterprise's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jyrell Reese, who rushed for 47 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Nalls, who rushed for 58 yards and one score on only six carries.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. JAG will take on Central at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Enterprise, they will square off against Smiths Station at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.2 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
