Volleyball Recap: The Village School of Naples Comes Up Short + How To Watch

The Village School of Naples managed to slip by Babcock the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Knights came up short against the Trailblazers on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trailblazers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-18, 25-11.

Babcock was led to victory by Lilly Palmeri and Talia Matten. Palmeri had 16 digs and two aces, while Matten had 16 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Palmeri has posted since back in August of 2024.

The Village School of Naples' loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Babcock, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. The Village School of Naples will face off against Naples Classical at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Babcock, they will take on Southwest Florida Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
