Tyvia Davis leads Northeast to victory over East Feliciana

The Northeast Vikings can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 43-33 win over East Feliciana. The victory was just what Northeast needed coming off of a 57-24 defeat in their prior contest.
Northeast can attribute much of their success to Tyvia Davis, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Davis has scored at least a third of Northeast's points. Daniyah Brown was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Northeast's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-11. As for East Feliciana, their defeat was their ninth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-11.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northeast will challenge East Iberville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for East Feliciana, they will head out on the road to square off against Livonia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
