Baseball Recap: Kettle Falls Takes a Loss

After flying high against Davenport on Tuesday, Kettle Falls came back down to earth. The Bulldogs lost 12-4 to the Colville Indians on Wednesday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Danny Searson made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Zac Burch, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Kettle Falls' loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Colville, they pushed their record up to 10-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Kettle Falls will head out to square off against Davenport at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Colville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lakeside at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season.
