Metamora is a perfect 10-0 against East Peoria since September of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Redbirds will look to defend their home court against the Raiders at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Monday, Metamora came up short against Normal University and fell 2-0. The loss continues a trend for the Redbirds in their meetings with the Pioneers: they've now lost five in a row.

Metamora was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-14.

Meanwhile, East Peoria also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Streator by a score of 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-20.

East Peoria's defeat dropped their record down to 13-19. As for Metamora, their loss dropped their record down to 19-12.

Metamora beat East Peoria 2-0 when the teams last played back in September. Do the Redbirds have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Raiders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
