Softball Recap: Seaford Bluejays vs. Polytech Panthers

After flying high against Sts. Peter & Paul last Monday, Seaford came back down to earth. The Bluejays came up short against the Polytech Panthers on Tuesday, falling 13-1. The Bluejays haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Seaford saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordyn Evans, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Seaford's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Polytech, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

As for Polytech, they will host Smyrna at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
