Basketball Recap: Hartford Comes Up Short

Hartford has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 49-39 to the Brattleboro Bears, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bears this season, with their most recent defeat being a 49-39 loss last Thursday.

Hartford's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Brattleboro, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Hartford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brattleboro, they have already played their next contest, a 48-25 defeat against Fair Haven on the 1st.
