Brandon lost to Our Lady Academy last Saturday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Bulldogs had just enough and edged out the Crescents 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Brandon got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-11, 18-25, 15-13.

When it comes to explaining why Our Lady Academy lost, don't look at Mackenzie Knoblock. Despite the final result, she had six digs and two aces.

Brandon's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Our Lady Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 7-2 record.

Coincidentally, Brandon and Our Lady Academy will both be playing Gulfport the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Admirals at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Crescents will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
