Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Concordia). Their defense stepped up to hand the Madison Dragons a 10-0 shutout on Monday. It was an even better day for Abbi Gibbs as she scored six goals for her team.

Concordia is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those four contests. As for Madison, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Concordia is set to face off against their familiar foe Omaha North at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Madison will challenge rival Gross Catholic on the 24th.
