Pleasant Grove never let their opponents score on Friday. They put the hurt on the Franklin Wildcats with a sharp 7-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won five in a row.

Madeline Lawson made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double.
