Basketball Recap: Daryl Little's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Thunderbird over Phoenix Christian

Thunderbird's tournament run continued when they took on Phoenix Christian on Tuesday. The Titans lost to the Cougars on the road by a 73-55 margin. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Thunderbird's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Daryl Little, who went 7-for-12 on his way to 15 points and five steals. Another player making a difference was Fred Francis, who posted ten points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Thunderbird's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Phoenix Christian, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Thunderbird will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Coconino at 7:00 p.m. on December 3. Phoenix Christian has already played their next matchup (against South Mountain), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
