Anthony Wayne had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Whitmer Panthers a 10-0 shutout. Considering the Generals have won five contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Anthony Wayne pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.9 runs over those games. As for Whitmer, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Looking ahead, Anthony Wayne will take on Springfield at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Whitmer, they will face off against Northview at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
