Volleyball Recap: Lillian Courville's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Donovan over Calvary Christian Academy

Donovan lost against Calvary Christian Academy back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Knights by a score of 2-1. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Donovan lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Lillian Courville, who had 27 digs and two aces. Bailey Henneike was another key player, getting 18 assists and 15 digs.

Donovan's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Calvary Christian Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-14.

Donovan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Southland College Prep on the 7th. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Judah Christian on the 7th.
