Sylmar won the last time they faced Van Nuys and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Spartans put the hurt on the Wolves with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Sylmar took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-5, 25-12.

Sylmar's victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Van Nuys, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.
