Basketball Recap: High Tech CV Extends Home Winning Streak to Nine

High Tech CV had won eight straight home games dating back to last season and Kyle Ilagan did his part to make it nine on Thursday. The High Tech CV Bruins narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the O'Farrell Charter Falcons 70-68 thanks in part to Ilagan, who went 7 of 11 from beyond the arc en route to 34 points. He has been hot for a while, having posted 16 or more points the last nine times he's played.

Another player making a difference was Ramzie Cabal, who went 6 for 15 on his way to 12 points and six boards. That's the most points he has posted since back in November of 2024.

High Tech CV's record is now 11-9. As for O'Farrell Charter, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-10 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. High Tech CV will host The Cambridge School at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th. As for O'Farrell Charter, they will challenge Bonsall at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
