After soaring to 15 runs the game before, Manning was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They came up short against the East Clarendon Wolverines, falling 11-1. The loss continues a trend for the Monarchs in their meetings with the Wolverines: they've now lost nine in a row.

Manning's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for East Clarendon, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: East Clarendon beat Manning by a score of 10-0 on Friday.
