Ridge Point waltzed into their match on Friday with 18 straight wins... but they left with 19. They put the hurt on the Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

One reason for the win was Ridge Point's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-14, 25-11.

Jayden Robinson paced Ridge Point's offense, picking up 12 kills. Robinson got some help from Madelyn Johnson and her 32 assists. Robinson also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Reese Brunton, each putting up two.

Ridge Point's win bumped their record up to 30-13. As for Fort Bend Austin, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-20.

Ridge Point has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Needville on the 27th. As for Fort Bend Austin, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Cy-Fair on the 28th.
