Softball Game Preview: Chenango Valley Warriors vs. Chenango Forks Blue Devils

The Chenango Valley Warriors will face off against the Chenango Forks Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Chenango Valley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

Chenango Valley fell victim to Susquehanna Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They fell just short of the Sabers by a score of 1-0.

Chenango Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colsten Beers, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chenango Forks). They came out on top against Lansing by a score of 9-5 on Tuesday.

Chenango Forks' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Chenango Valley, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-5.

Chenango Valley skirted past Chenango Forks 2-0 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blue Devils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
