Volleyball Recap: Lafayette Christian Comes Up Short

Lafayette Christian lost against Holy Ground Baptist Academy back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cougars fell just short of the Stallions by a score of 3-2.

Lafayette Christian was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Holy Ground Baptist Academy work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-14, 27-25, 14-25, 23-25, 15-11.

Lafayette Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Holy Ground Baptist Academy, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Lafayette Christian will square off against CrossPointe Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Holy Ground Baptist Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Central Christian at 6:30 p.m.
